Step 5: Trap Adult Flies
To reduce the number of adult flies, place a small bowl near the drain containing:
- Apple cider vinegar
- Water
- A few drops of dish soap
The flies are attracted to the mixture and become trapped.
Keep in mind that this only removes adults and will not eliminate larvae living inside the drain.
