Acts of kindness often come when people need them most, and one KFC employee has been widely praised after helping a mother and her young daughter during a difficult moment.

The heartwarming story, originally shared on Facebook, quickly spread across social media, with thousands of people applauding the employee's compassion and willingness to go above and beyond for a customer.

A Challenging Day for One Family

Lauren Clarke had taken her six-year-old daughter, Madison, shopping with other family members when the outing became stressful.

Madison, who has autism, became upset after her routine changed unexpectedly. Like many children with autism, sudden changes in plans can be overwhelming, and Lauren began searching for a way to help calm her daughter.

She decided to visit a nearby KFC restaurant, hoping Madison's favorite meal would provide comfort.

An Unexpected Problem

When Lauren arrived, she discovered the restaurant's dining area was temporarily closed for maintenance.

Not wanting to disappoint her daughter, she explained the situation to employees, who suggested she use the drive-through. However, there was one problem—she wasn't in a car.

Instead of turning her away, the staff chose to help.
